Reserve Your Accommodations before May 17, 2015

Conveniently, all conference sessions will take place at Shanty Creek Resorts’ Lakeview Hotel at Summit Village and discount accommodations are provided for conference attendees in the same location, which is located at:

All registered conference attendees may take advantage of discount room rates. To book your accommodations, please complete the Hotel Reservation Form and return it to Shanty Creek Resorts by fax or mail. Reservations must be made by Sunday, May 17, 2015, in order to qualify for the discounted conference hotel rates. Reservation requests after this date will still be accepted provided rooms are available. You must guarantee your room reservation with a major credit card or a check for deposit of first nights lodging.

You are welcome to arrive up to two days early or extend your stay for up to two following this conference. If the room type requested is not available for the additional days, Shanty Creek Resorts reserves the right to assign the next available room type and rate.

Additional Payment Terms

An additional guest fee is $15 per person, per night in the guest rooms over double occupancy. Children under 18 may stay free in their parents’ room using existing bedding. The rates listed on the Hotel Reservation Form are per room, per day, plus 6% state tax, 9% resort fee and 5% Traverse City Convention & Visitors Bureau fee. If your organization is state tax exempt you must furnish a copy of the state tax exemption certificate when making your reservations.

If mailing a check, your reservation will be held for 10 days pending receipt of the check. If a credit card deposit is made and the organization pays in full by check credit card refunds are subject to a $10 handling fee.

Deposit Policy

You must guarantee your room reservation with a major credit card or a check for deposit of the first nights lodging. The credit card WILL BE charged for the 1st nights lodging deposit. Use of debit cards at the resort for lodging or deposits may cause your financial institution to put a hold on your account for the total amount of the stay plus a $50 per night incidental charge. The resort is not responsible for returned check fees resulting from this practice by your financial institution. Refund of your deposit will be made if a cancellation occurs at least five (5) days prior to arrival, less a $10 handling fee.

Check-In and Check-Out

Check-in begins at 5:00 p.m. and check-out is 12:00 p.m.
